Job Description: Executive Director of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. (‘Fraternity’)
The Executive Director works in partnership with the Fraternity’s Board of Directors, overseeing the General Office staff to provide leadership, vision and direction for the Fraternity. He is expected to develop an organizational strategy that reflects the strategic plan for the Fraternity as developed collaboratively with the Board of Directors, implement policies approved by the Board of Directors, manage the day-to-day operations and programs of the Fraternity, and represent the Fraternity in the fraternity and sorority community, with colleges and universities and to external partners.
Specific areas of responsibility and expectations for the Executive Director include the following:
Programming and Logistics
Fraternity Affiliated Foundations
Budget and Finance Management
Risk Management Prevention/Triage
Publications and Social Media
